Leaving Manhattan behind for a taste of the NorCal summer has been quite an experience. The cool and sleepy San Francisco air feels a bit surreal and the pace has a unique attribute that is very different from the commuting lifestyle of NYC. Unsurprisingly, various tech and design events constantly take place in SF during "June Gloom" (it's not that gloomy to a former Chicagoan) while offering a plethora of insight.
Whether it's a room full of web developers discussing personal side projects at Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC) or a creative agency team dedicated to welcoming designers to their studio space while briefing what work equates to on a soulful level at SF Design Week (SFDW); tech gatherers are sure to enjoy the events and opportunities that stream along with the social experience. Everyone seems to speak the same language here- TheFuture.
